Weekly Update, September 23, 2011
Remedial Investigation field work commenced in late-March 2010 at the former Metropolitan Works MGP as part of the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC)- approved Remedial Investigation Work Plan (RIWP). The completed work included the installation of soil borings, monitoring wells, test pit excavations, and indoor air and sub-slab soil vapor points to gather information required to determine the nature and extent of impacts at the former Metropolitan Works MGP. Additional work to complete the Remedial Investigation is scheduled for the fall of 2011.

Future (two week look - ahead) activities:
- Drilling to be performed at two adjacent private properties, including the advancement and installation of soil borings and monitoring wells.
